Week 3

Hello all!  Thank you for all the photos and messages - you are all doing a fantastic job adapting to home learning.  We hope you are finding the resources we are posting here useful - thank you for your feedback.  The activities that you have been doing all look fantastic.

The BBC Bitesize Daily lessons, Oak National Academy lessons and Carol Vorderman's Maths Factor lessons  are a great opportunity for the children to access lessons online.  These are proving very engaging for the children and very useful to those parents who are trying to work from home as the children can often work independently.  Please do not feel under pressure to complete the activities that we are setting here each week.  The options that we are uploading often require some adult supervision/support and we understand (trust us) that this really is not possible for all of you.  We try to make sure that there are some activities set each week that the children can complete practically and/or independently.  Please pick and choose the bits that you can do and make use of the online lessons that are out there.  They might not be on the theme that we are focusing on this week but they will be useful revision or exposure to skills within the Curriculum - all of which will be beneficial to the children's learning.  By this point, we're sure that you are all starting to find what suits you.

We want to reassure you that it is great!

In other news - there is a very special anniversary being celebrated this week - VE Day!

On Friday 8th May, we will be celebrating the 75th anniversary of VE Day.  If you want to find out more and some ideas for activities to do this week - have a look at VE Day from KS1 doc.
